Politics & Religion – I’ve had enough

Devil I don’t know about you but I have had enough.. It has not only been beat to death like a dead flippin horse in the media, but in our private lives as well. The Key word to me being PRIVATE LIFE… I personally think my Private life should be just that.. MY PRIVATE LIFE.. None of your, or anyone else’s, business, that is unless I share it here on my blog for all the world to read about and then. and only then.. is it it YOUR business, because I made it your business.. Right…

Angry smile Well, We have opted out of politics this year.. I know, I know, a lot of you are gasping and turning your heads and saying.. What? but what about ??? and What about ??? Aren’t you going to vote??? and What about ??? and what about ??? Trust me, I have heard it all, from every angle and from every point of view from every family member and every friend I have.. And to tell you the truth I have lost family members (relationships) and Friendships over Politics and over religious discussions and to tell you the truth, for the next couple of years as a matter of fact. My kids, my fiancé and I have sworn off of Politics and religion as any sort of TOPIC of discussion. It is taboo.. No way, NO how is it allowed to be mentioned In my presence, in my house..

If it is mentioned, I will turn around and leave with my children in tow.. YES, even if I am at a baseball game, a school function of any kind, a family holiday dinner or what every it may be.. If simply opting out of the conversation doesn’t work, I will pick my family up, Bid you ado and walk my happy ass out your front door and say “ till next time “. WHY? Because life is too Friggin short.. Have you looked at yourselves lately.. Have you seen what horrible shape our economy is in, our state, our country our “HOME” is in? and now it is in our own front yard, our actual “HOME” we can’t sit down to dinner without a flippin argument erupting because Dad and uncle Joe can’t agree on who’s running for Mayor or president, or Cousin Sissy and her new husband are fighting over what religion to raise little Bobby up in…

For heaven sake.. Where the hell has the LOVE for family and Friends gone??? Enjoying the time we have for one another and just friggin LOVING each other for who we are and keeping our PRIVATE matters, well, PRIVATE dammit..

I have sooooo had enough of the damn commercials and debates and shit.. This is why I and my family have given up TV.. only once in a great while I pay the $8 for a month of HULU to watch a few missed episodes of BONES or some other show I used to like to watch.. Even those are now polluted with friggin commercials.. SHIT.. I can’t escape it no matter how hard I try… I am so SICK of it…
