Orgreenic Frying pan – I bought it !

UGH ! Okay, well, maybe, just maybe I did it wrong. Well, let me explain
first, I’m sure i have you thoroughly confused, or at least a little. I bought the Orgreenic Frying pan for myself (lol, since I couldn’t get one given to me for free. to review). {Photo: sauté onions}
It’s a $20 pan, said to have Ceramic coating, non stick surface as long as you
follow the direction “Exactly” as they are put. The instructions say to lightly coat the pan with oil put the pan on medium to high heat till just smoking. remove from heat, allow to fully cool then wipe out all the oil with a paper towel. At this point the pan is now ready and should be now NON STICK. {photo: deep fry picture of Moral Mushrooms}
I followed the directions to a T, and for the FIRST use, it was NON
STICK, but the second use, foods began to stick, third use things stuck worse and worse. It said not to use soap when washing, I never did. I just wiped clean with a paper towel, until it started getting this sticky residue inside and the paper towel would stick to the pan. {Photo: pancakes}
I have to say I was very disappointed, Displeased completely. I was so hoping that this one was going to work out. The pan was beautiful though, it had a sparkle to it that was gorgeous. It cleaned up wonderful after the first use. Although, my boyfriend, who was used to using crappy old pans, did the ONE thing a woman dreads, when I wasn’t paying attention and on one the times that things were sticking to the pan, he decided that he would do what he did when he couldn’t get things to come off his old grungy pans… He would take it outside and let his DOG scratch at it and eat on it and knaw at it to get the crunchy gunk off it.. I nearly fainted and wanted to knock his head off with the frying pan right there when I saw it on the porch with the dogs paw inside the pan and the dog was licking it..
To attest to it’s durability though, the only place that got damaged at all by the dog and his veracious appetite and claws was around the outer edge (see the photos just above this paragraph). Trust me, it was not from the lack of trying on the dogs part, he fought me hard to get the pan back too. This pan was hard as nails, Plus, after frying up the batch of mushrooms (pictured above) the pan was covered in black sticky goo, and it was THICK. My boyfriend (after I got it away from the dog) had to scrub it pretty darn hard with a plastic scrub brush). I took some home video’s of using the Orgreenic too for your pleasure, I’d love it if you would take a look. Feel free to leave me a comment or two..
Our Wal-Mart also got in the Yoshi Blue Diamond Frying Pans at www.yoshiblue.net and I will be reviewing it also. So stay tuned.
