My new fashion passion

Nail Art / Nail design… I have been growing my nails out and they are getting quite long. I used to get gel nails put on all the time, way back when my hubby made lots o’ money.. Hell, way back when I had a hubby Period.. lol.. These days cash flow is NILL and the hubby is an EX… I do have a new man of course, but we are living paycheck to paycheck these days and if I want some pretty new nails, the salon is OUT OF THE QUESTION.. around here inflation has hit as if we are all Hollywood stars or something.. We can’t afford these prices.. SO.. I’m learning to do this stuff myself.. I’ve been attaching my own “false” nails for about 10 years now.. Only on myself of course.. I’ve not attempted to do anyone elses nails for them.

That is until the other day when my cousin offered me $20 to fix her 2 broken nails and do her fill-in’s for her.. I agreed to try it out and do my best… I wasn’t happy with my job of course (an artist is his be critic), she said she was happy. I keep wanting her to come back so I can work on them more.. Till they are perfect at least.. lol.. Anyway. Here are a couple designs I have done on myself and one that my daughter wanted for herself. They are, by no means, anything over the top and fantastic, they are beginner at best.. But I thought I would share. They are cute.. I will be re doing them again tonight.. I am going to try out a new method I’ve been seeing on YouTube called the water method.. Here is a video showing an example.. Search YouTube for more if your interested in learning to do it.. It’s fascinating and quite easy to do..
