I’m so excited–My Army Son is coming HOME

It’s been at least 4+ months I believe since I’ve seen my eldest child since he went off to the army for MP training and I’ve missed him terribly. He is graduating on the 8th of November and unfortunately I can not be there for his graduation. It tears me to pieces but there is nothing I can do about it… We have NO money what so ever, so I have to sit here and wait until he can come to me…

My Ex Husband (the first one. lol) His (my oldest son’s) father, will be hosting a BBQ for our son over the weekend and thank goodness he and I are in good standing so I am invited (and so is my Fiancé who just happens to be my Ex Husbands best friend.. Long story…. NO.. we didn’t start dating until 20 years AFTER my Ex and I divorced.. so it’s OK).. lol… My son has to leave on Tuesday to head to Colorado where he will be stationed at for the next 4 years at least.. Which just happens to be Fabulous, because the town he will be in, is 30 minutes away from where my BEST Friend lives too, so I get to visit Both of them now…

Now my only problem will be $$$ Just if this damn economy can LET UP so people can actually afford to live more than day by day… Crap… We can’t even make it week by week without worrying about our next meal.. Let alone, wondering if I can take a vacation next summer to go visit my first born child at his new home… Or if I will ever get to meet my new grandbaby when and if he/she ever gets born. lol.. NO, I’m not pushing.. lol. (Yes, my son is married. lol.. he just got married this last summer.. Weeeee.. Grama is only the NEXT step.. RIGHT ! ! ! !)
