Bright star kids: label it right

It’s back to school time and I am in 5th gear running full speed ahead, getting geared up and ready to go head to head with the whole thing. We are Just beginning to get started on our shopping but I am up for it as I have 2 backpacks bought for my son, it is his Sr. year in High school this year. Every year he has gone through 2 backpacks the first 6 months of school. They just don’t make them like they used to.. The work load these kids have is insane. And it’s just high school. I would hate to see what College is like. The back packs are not put together like they used to be. The straps on my son’s back packs tore off every year now for the last 6 years, and the zippers have tore out because of not being able to hand the weight of the load of books he’s had to bare.

My daughter has gone through at least Two back packs each year also in the last 4 years she’s been in school. she too has broken straps on her back packs, the cheaper prices one’s fell apart simple from being washed.. I don’t know about you but once the darn things get dirty, I don’t care to have them walk around with them filthy nasty like that. I tend to throw them in the wash. Unfortunately some of them were not meant to be washed. They fall apart after being washed. NO, I can’t afford to pay over $25 for a Backpack. I’m a single mom on a fixed budget and I still have to buy school clothes and supplies to go in the backpacks. I would appreciate if the companies creating these products would keep in mind that us folks that can’t afford to buy HIGH PRICED items, Can’t afford to buy items TWICE either…
